This week, April 5, WSN Staff member, Masha Kouznetsova will be showcasing her work and installation at the Whitespec at Whitespace Gallery, in Atlanta, Georgia.
Masha Kouznetsova is an artist and illustrator born in Moscow, Russia. She received her BFA in Textiles at Georgia State University and is currently living in San Francisco. While in the Bay Area, she has worked as an assistant to fiber artists Yoshiko Iwamoto Wada and Ana Lisa Hedstrom. At Small Trade Company in San Francisco she completed commissions for Levi’s Made & Crafted, MARCH, Headlands Center for the Arts, and many others.
Masha is self taught in paper sculpture. Her work is well worth checking out if you live in that area!
