WSN Members, Textile Arts Center, located in Brooklyn, NY will be having their 4th cycle of Artists-in-Residence show their new work in an exhibition coming up in a several days.
The exhibition features work from Eleanor Anderson, Lucia Cuba, Mandy Kordal, Kristin Morrison, Kate Parvenski, and Kelly Valletta — and is culmination of nine months of hard work by these six talented artists and designers.
TAC equips emerging artists & designers with the skills they need to articulate their practices and contribute to their communities. As a resource for professional development, the Artists in Residence program combines interdisciplinary learning with a deep focus on technical and business development. The AIR program empowers participants to actively manage their own endeavors and careers, and to share their skills with a greater community.
If you’re in NY, go on over to Brooklyn (even if you live in Manhattan!) to see contemporary textile works in apparel, and design from a studio that we love!
