“Craft in America: Industry” Premieres on PBS!

WSN would like to spread the word about the Peabody Award winning film series focused on “the exploration, preservation and celebration of craft and its impact on our nation’s cultural heritage” premiering the episode “Industry” on PBS this May.

INDUSTRY focuses on the relationship between the consumer and the maker and highlights the value of artisan crafted handmade objects within today’s creative economy.

WSN Member, Catharine Ellis has been working with one of the artisans featured in this episode, Oriole Mill in North Carolina to create her beautiful woven shibori scarves, you can find on our shop.
