We are pleased to invite you to an exceptional 14-day South India cultural study tour. Expect immersive experiences with traditional crafts, contemporary art, historical architecture, the local people and cuisine. Participants will meet and make new friends. Come experience the rich and diverse history within India.
All accommodations, transportation, and most meals are included. Accommodations and meals for the Insider’s Cultural Study Tours are selected for their remarkable and /or luxurious qualities. The tour includes some hands-on workshops in kantha stitchery, natural dyeing with shibori, block printing, and batik, a session with painting henna on your hand, kolam painting, and chetinad cooking. Our itinerary brings us to music and kathakali dance performances, visits to weavers’ studios, demonstrations with wood carvers, kalamkali painting, and more.
This tour is limited to 15 participants to keep the experience intimate.
