Join us for an interactive shibori workshop with Hiroshi Murase, our Master Arimatsu Shibori Artist and Instructor. You will elevate your shibori practice through interactive learning with Murase-san and the other participants. Play with folding, stitching, pleating, wrapping and even combined methods for dye-resist on your cloth before immersing your work in indigo or other dyes. Then unbind the resist to discover shibori memories in light and dark designs on your cloth. During this workshop, you’ll have opportunities to show your current work for critique and discussion.

Murase-san is developing a curriculum for this workshop based on participants’ requests. Details coming here soon.
