Celebrating the visual languages of PEOPLE, COMMUNITY, CULTURE, and ENVIRONMENT through the global practice of resist-dye traditions and innovations
Ysabel de Maisonneuve
Ysabel trained at the Ecole Nationale des Arts Decoratifs in Limoges, at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts d’Angers Polythechnic Middlesex and London. By working on the theme of the spider, Ysabel was drawn to textiles and the trajectory of a wire. Such as the spider moves in space, Ysabel saw the textile art as a dance that invites the gaze to move and the body to move.
